I'm there to see what's happening and I catch it. That, in retrospect, is what's precious.
I shoot primarily on film, sometimes digital. I edit minimally either way.
I work quietly, direct minimally, shoot slowly. I'd drink coffee with you, play with the kids, and wait until my presence stops being noticed, and then shoot as life unfolds.
The images carry the native imperfections of the medium: a light leak, grain, the occasional high ISO noise. I don't polish over them. I don't retouch skin, run images through AI, or remove elements from the scene.
The purpose of this work is to preserve the real moment for you. To tell your true story. So that you can love and celebrate yourself, your family, your life - and know that it's perfectly beautiful exactly as it is.
I don't use my clients' photos on my social feeds or website without specific consent.
